1. Who We Are
Zoffer Bills ("we," "our," or "us") is a business expense and billing management platform operated by Zoffer Innovations Private Limited, a DPIIT-recognised startup incorporated in Delhi, India. We help Indian business owners manage bills and expenses through our web application (bills.zoffer.in).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect and share your information when you use Zoffer Bills.
2. Information We Collect

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use analytics tools, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or device fingerprinting.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only for:
- Providing and operating Zoffer Bills
- Processing your bills and expenses using AI
- Syncing data with your Zoho Books account at your direction
- Processing payments for your subscription
- Delivering processing results to you
- Password reset and account verification
- Debugging technical issues (post consent)
- Complying with applicable laws
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
Your data is not used to train any AI models.
4. How We Protect Your Information
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit: All communication between your device and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS.
- Encryption at rest: Sensitive credentials stored in our database are protected using AES-256 encryption. Encryption keys are stored separately from the data they protect.
- Password security: Passwords are hashed before storage. We never store or see your password in plain text.
- Access control: Access to production infrastructure and customer data is restricted to authorised personnel.
- Payment security: Payment processing is handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card or bank details.
5. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to deliver Zoffer Bills. Each receives only the minimum data necessary for its function.

Messages you send us are processed automatically by our system. No person reads your messages or views your images.
Our AI services run on paid API tiers that do not use customer data for model training.
We do not share your data with any party beyond those necessary to operate the service.
6. Data Storage
Your data may be stored on cloud infrastructure located outside India, as necessary to provide the service.
We do not store your accounting data. Financial records remain in your Zoho Books account and are fetched only when needed.

When you delete your account, we remove your account data, Zoho Books connection, AI chat history, and processing logs from our systems. Data already synced to your Zoho Books account is not affected and remains under your control.
8. Consent
By creating an account on Zoffer Bills, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.
9. Children's Privacy
Zoffer Bills is designed for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.

12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
